Raised to Walk Devo Day 20 - April 20

Let’s prayerfully read and give thought to Romans chapter 5. There is so much in this
chapter! As you read the passage, do the following:

H- highlight the verses that stand out to you.
E – explain the verse(s) in your own words of what God is saying to you.
A – apply the verse to your life. (What would it look like to live this truth in your life?)
R – respond in prayer by writing your heart to God.

Let’s Zero Into V.17 – “For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that
one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace
and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!”
Notice in Vs. 12 – 21, there are 2 parade processions in which we can follow. One
procession leads to death; the other procession leads to eternal life. Who is at the front
of the parade of death? See V.14 Who is at the front of the parade of eternal life? See V.15

Imagine Jesus leading a parade leading to eternal life and you are following Him. You
are clothed with righteousness, peace and joy fill you heart, and you head is covered
with God’s glory. What does this do to your heart? Write out a prayer expressing your
heart to the Lord.
