Beyond Possible Day 18 - May 16

Let’s prayerfully read Exodus chapter 5. Highlight what stands out to you in this
chapter. Journal insights and talk with God about what He is speaking to you.
Let’s focus on Vs. 22 – 23 – So Moses went back to the LORD and asked, “Lord,
why have you caused trouble for this people? And why did you ever send me?
  Ever since I went into Pharaoh to speak in your name he has caused trouble for
this people and you haven’t rescued your people at all.”

Moses is experiencing a ‘crisis of belief’ – “Lord, why? Why have I caused this
trouble and why haven’t you intervened?” Are you experiencing a ‘crisis of belief’
in your faith journey? If so, honestly talk to the Lord about your ‘whys’ and choose
to trust Him when you cannot see the outcome.

Charles Spurgeon once said, “God is too good to be unkind and He is too wise to
be mistaken. And when we cannot trace His hand, we must trust His heart.”
Pray – “Lord, I confess I am experiencing a crisis of belief in walking with You. I
believe in You, but please help my unbelief. In my present challenge of
____________________, I cannot trace Your hand; but I chose to trust Your heart.
I know You desire good for me and You will work all this out for Your glory, for I
humbly pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
