Today, let’s prayerfully reflect on Exodus chapters 7 through 10. Yes, a little more than
usual; highlight the plagues of God’s judgment released on the Egyptians.
Which of the plagues do you think was the most severe? Each of the plagues was
the Lord’s judgment on one of the pagan deities of Egypt (river, livestock, frogs,
etc). What happened to Pharoah’s heart during the plagues?
‘Do the book’ Challenge – Hebrews 3:7–8 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says:
Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts ….” Instead of responding
with an obedient heart to God’s message, Pharoah responded by hardening his
heart. As the Lord speaks to you by His Word and Spirit, respond with a soft heart,
listening and responding to His voice.
Pray – “Speak, Lord, for I am Your servant; I am listening.”
