Beyond Possible Day 21 - May 19

Congratulations to the graduating class of 2024! We will celebrate with the
graduates and families in both worship services today. The sermon challenge will
be from the life of Moses in Hebrews 11: 23 – 29. Moses did ‘beyond the possible’
by faith in God. Let’s pray for these graduates to live ‘beyond possible’ like Moses.
Prayerfully read Exodus chapters 11 & 12. What are some takeaways from your
reading?

Zoom in to Hebrews 11:28–29 - “By faith, he (Moses) instituted the Passover and
the sprinkling of the blood so that the destroyer of the firstborn might not touch the
Israelites. By faith, they crossed the Red Sea as though they were on dry land.
When the Egyptians attempted to do this, they were drowned.”

How did the Israelites escape the destroyer of the firstborn? How did they cross
the Red Sea? Let’s say it aloud together, “BY FAITH.”

Pray – “Abba Father, I am awed to read about Your judgment on the land of
Egypt and the mighty deliverance of Your people. I recognize this was by their faith
in You to do ‘beyond possible.’ With all of my heart, I place my faith in You alone.
Your Son is my Passover lamb and He is my way through the Red Sea, for I
humbly pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
