Let’s continue our journey in the book of Joshua reflecting in chapter 2. Who is the
focus of this chapter? Can you relate to any parts of the story?
Let’s Zoom into Hebrews 11: 31 –“By faith, Rahab the prostitute welcomed the
spies in peace and didn’t perish with those who disobeyed.” Rahab was a citizen
of Jericho that was to be destroyed by God, but she did not perish. Why? Highlight
verses in Joshua chapter 2 where she took actions to demonstrate her faith in
God.
Pause & reflect – We are living in a city and world that will one day be destroyed.
How can you not perish? Say it aloud “By faith” Write out a prayer expressing to
God your heart of thankfulness for saving you from perishing.
