Today is the day the Lord has made in beautiful Sarasota, Florida! In anticipation
of our worship gathering, let’s prayerfully read Joshua chapter 6, verses 22 – 27.
Who is the central person in this chapter? What is significant about the faith
expressed in the Lord and His protection?
Let’s zero into V.23 –“So the young men who had scouted went in and brought out
Rahab and her father, mother, brothers, and all who belonged to her. They brought
out her whole family and settled them outside the camp of Israel.” As the entire city
of Jericho was destroyed, Rahab and her family were saved. What allowed her to
experience BEYOND POSSIBLE provision of God’s mercy? Hebrews 11:31
states it was “By faith Rahab …. didn’t perish with those who disobeyed.”
Pray with bold believing faith for ones who are in a perishing condition to be
saved. Write down their names in your journal and pray for them to be startled by
the love of Jesus.
