Let’s prayerfully read Genesis chapter 7, verses 11- 24. What is a highlight from
today’s reading? What application can you make to your life? What does this do to
your heart?
Let’s zoom into V. 23. – The global flood was God’s judgment on the wickedness
and violence of mankind. Consider the extensiveness of the flood - “He (God)
wiped out every living thing that was on the face of the earth….. Only Noah was
left, and those that were with him in the ark.” As it was in the days of Noah, so it
will be for us in the last days.
Jesus invites us to “Enter through the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the
road broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who go through it. How
narrow is the gate and difficult the road that leads to life, and few find it.” Matthew
7:13–14
Pray to be faithful and to demonstrate faith in these challenging times.
Abba Father, Your Word warns us that Just punishment will come on all those who
reject Your authority. I believe Your Word and I trust wholly in Your Son to be my
deliver. I pray that you would use me to lead others through the narrow gate and
difficult road that leads to life, for I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen!”
