Beyond Possible Day 39 - June 6

Let’s continue our journey with Noah who lived by faith to experience the BEYOND
POSSIBLE deliverance from the global flood. Prayerfully reflect on Genesis
chapter 8, verses 1 – 14. What stands out as a highlight for you? (Write it down in
your journal). How would you explain this to a friend? What application does this
have for your life today? Express a heart response to the Lord.

Let’s Zero into V. 1 – “God remembered Noah, as well as all the wildlife and all the
livestock that were with him in the ark. God caused a wind to pass over the earth,
and the water began to subside.” The Hebrew word translated “remembered” often
carries the sense of acting in accordance with what is remembered, i.e., fulfilling
covenant promises. God took special thought of Noah & His promise to deliver His
family and all the animals in the ark, and He began to reverse the flood.

Pause and consider – Can you recall a time when God took special thought of
you? (maybe in your spiritual transformation, maybe comforting you in a time of
sadness or grief, maybe blessing you in a season of joy and blessing, etc.) Pause
and express your heart to Him….
“God, as I think of You taking special thought of me when
_________________, my heart is filled with ______________________________.
I acknowledge Your deep knowing and caring for me, for I humbly pray in Jesus’
name, Amen.”

Meditate on the promise of 2 Chronicles 16:9 as you begin your day – “For the
eyes of the LORD roam throughout the earth to show himself strong for those who
are wholeheartedly devoted to him.” How does this impact your heart?
