Beyond Possible Day 44 - June 11

As God calls us to live by faith in Him to experience the BEYOND POSSIBLE, this
calling does not mean we will not have problems and even family conflicts. Let’s
read about Abraham’s journey of faith in Genesis 13. What challenges did he
encounter? How did he respond to these challenges?

Let’s zoom into Vs. 14 – 17 – the Lord said to Abram, “Look from the place where
you are. Look north and south, east and west, 15  for I will give you and your
offspring forever all the land that you see. 16  I will make your offspring like the dust
of the earth, so that if anyone could count the dust of the earth, then your offspring
could be counted. 17  Get up and walk around the land, through its length and width,
for I will give it to you.” The Lord promised Abraham an offspring (child to be born
in his old age) and a land. The land was Canaan, which is today modern Israel.
(We sometimes wonder why this is the headline of today’s news; it has been the
center of God’s redemptive activity for the world & the enemy resists Him.)

God’s promises would require Abraham to have feet of faith to “get up and walk
around the land.” Are there promises in God’s Word that He is calling you to place
your feet of faith? (Maybe Proverbs 3: 5,6 to deepen your trust for His guidance;
maybe Colossians 3: 23 for your workplace or school; maybe Habakkuk 2: 14 for
our city and region of Sarasota… allow the Spirit to bring other promises of His
Word to your heart and mind.)

PRAYER PROMPT – “Abba Father, as I consider the Promise of

believing You to do BEYOND POSSIBLE, for You are my God and King, for I
humbly pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
