Let’s prayerfully reflect on 1 Samuel chapter 19. Jot down highlights, application
and heart response to the Word.
Let’s zoom into V. 18 – “So David fled and escaped and went to Samuel at Ramah
and told him everything Saul had done to him. Then he and Samuel left and
stayed at Naioth.” David is a fugitive fleeing from King Saul, who is filled with
insane jealousy to kill him.
It is in this context of fleeing, David wrote Psalm 63. Read this chapter and make it
your prayer.
