This is day 9 of our 31 days of prayer journey for our nation. Let’s read and reflect on the
book of Romans 13, which is a call for spiritual AWAKENING. What is a highlight for you
from today’s reading? What application can you make for your life?
Let’s zoom in to V.11 – “Besides this, since you know the time, it is already the hour for
you to wake up from sleep because now our salvation is nearer than when we first
believed.”
When you are sleeping and someone says, “Wake up!” What are they calling you to do?
Yes... to become awake or conscious. God’s Spirit is calling us to awaken to what event?
Pause and Pray : God, Are there any areas of my personal life or family life where I am
not awake and alert? Search me and show me any areas where I have fallen asleep and
need to come back to you. Lord, I declare my dependence upon you. I need your help to
become alert, and I need your power to act differently, especially in the area of
____________________, Amen!
