For day 10 of our 31 days of prayer for spiritual AWAKENING for our nation, let’s read and
reflect on Acts chapter 4 which records the early movement of the disciples following
Jesus’ ascension to heaven. This is a Jesus AWAKENING in the 1st century! What stands
out as a highlight from today’s reading? May this occur in Sarasota, Florida and
the surrounding region.
Let’s focus on V.13 - “The members of the council were amazed when they saw the
boldness of Peter and John, for they could see that they were ordinary men with no
special training in the Scriptures. They also recognized them as men who had been with
Jesus.”
Pause & Pray: Ask God’s Spirit to make such a change in you that others can’t help but
recognize that you have been with Jesus: Holy Spirit, what part of my life needs to change
today? What part of my life needs to change in such a way that people around me can’t
help but notice? Show me, Lord. And then empower that change within me. I want to be a
beacon of transformation that points others to you.

Pastor, just so happens, I was reading 2 Cor.3:18, Psa. 34:5 and Acts 6:15 this morning. May others, if by no other means than the look on our faces, see that we have been with Jesus today! God bless you today, Pastor Lewis!
