Let’s pray Psalm 85 on this 19th day of our 31 days of dedicated prayer for spiritual
AWAKENING for our nation.
Let’s specifically make Vs. 4 – 7 our prayer for spiritual awakening for us as His church –
“Restore us again, God our Savior,
and put away your displeasure toward us.
Will you be angry with us forever?
Will you prolong your anger through all generations?
Will you not revive us again,
that your people may rejoice in you?
Show us your unfailing love, Lord,
and grant us your salvation.”
THANKS: Thank you, Father, that in this very troubled world, my life is hidden with Christ
and I have the privilege to follow you and be used by you as your Spirit changes me into
your likeness.
CONFESSION: Sadly, Lord, I can go through the motions of relating to you without truly
seeking you with my whole heart; forgive me, restore me, and change me.
PETITION: Lord, awaken me to your voice and revive my passion for you and your ways,
that I might rejoice only in you. Deepen my love of you and your Word so that I might walk
humbly with you, sharing your like-ness and love with others.
WORD: Lord Jesus, might it be true of me that “the life I now live ... I live by faith in the
Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20 ). Holy Spirit, make
this promise real in me, that I might be a living witness of the gospel’s transforming power.

Restore Us - We are exercised by your chastening to correct our ways so you no longer have to be upset with us for failing to rise to the potential you see in us. Thank you for your patience in dealing with us so mercifully and showing your love by correcting us. We are so thankful you care enough to correct us.

nRevive Us - Our only real life is the life you give us! Without you we can do nothing. Even the life we now live is not really us but You living in us! Let us show your life and radiance in our lives. Thank you dear Saviour for the life-giving power of your Word!

nReveal to Us (Show us) - the unreachable depths of your love. Eph 3: 17-19 I pray that you, being rooted and firmly established in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the length and width, height and depth of God's love, 19 and to know Christ's love that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God."Oh, how He love you and me, Oh, how he loves you and me. He gave His life, what more can He give, Oh how he loves you and me." Like Jude told us in vs 21 give us the insight to let your love for us always surround us as we soak up the the warmth of your love for us like the sun's rays warm us.

nRejoice - Through your gracious restoring, great reviving, and glorious revealing of your love-then and only then can we gleefully rejoice with true joy-joy in who you are and the salvation you have given to us!!
