Back to the Basics Devo Day 4 - August 4

This is the Day the Lord has made in beautiful Sarasota, Florida! In anticipation of worship, let’s prayerfully read the entire James chapter 1, giving special focus to Verses 9 – 11. Are there any words or phrases that are highlights to you?

Pause & Reflect: How am I valuing God’s eternal kingdom over the temporary, fading wealth of this world? Write out a prayer expressing your desire to seek God’s kingdom first. Practice generosity to the eternal work of the ministries and missions of His local church at SBC by giving your tithe & offerings.

Today begins a new sermon series GETTING BACK TO THE BASICS focusing on the book of James; pray that we will get back to the simple basic practice of LOVING THE LORD. This is the 1st of the 4 core values of our SBC family.
