Are you GETTING BACK TO THE BASICS in your walk with the Lord? It’s a joy for us to read and apply God’s Word daily together. Let’s read James chapter 4. Circle or highlight any verse or text that stands out to you.
Let’s ZOOM INTO Vs. 1 – 3 as it focuses on relational conflict (marriage, family, friendships, church, business, school). How is conflict resolved? PRAYER….; prayer is always the first step to winning the war ‘within’ us and the war ‘around’ us.
PRAYER PROMPT: “O Father of lights, from You every good and perfect gift flows down into my life. I recognize much of what I am lacking in my life (spiritually, relationally, wellness, finances, vocation) that I have not asked you specifically. My lack of dependence on you in prayer has resulted in conflicts with others. So, I am confidently asking you for _______________________. Lord Jesus, I believe Your promise: ‘Until you have asked nothing in My name; ask that your joy may be full.’ I am humbly asking these things in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
