Let’s prayerfully read and reflect on the final chapter of James, chapter 5. What is something from the reading that stands out to you as a highlight?
Let’s ZOOM INTO Verse 1 – 6 which addresses the injustice of becoming wealthy at the expense of the poor. The text is warning ones in the 1st century who were ‘rich’ and at the expense of the poor.
Pause & Reflect: Have you ever been mistreated, scammed, robbed, or injured by someone who seemed to have ‘gotten away with it?’ What comfort can you find in the justice of God – i.e. the fact that God is the judge of all & no one can escape His judgment?
Write out a prayer celebrating the justice and righteousness of our eternal King who sits eternally on His throne in heaven. _______________________________________________.
