BLESS every home begins by blessing your home in prayer. Let's set our hearts on H.E.A.R. (ing) from the Lord as we prayerfully read the O.T. book of Deuteronomy, chapter 6.
Write your responses to your H.E.A.R. prompts and discuss with a near one or group. Look for opportunities to do the book in your daily traffic patterns.
Let's ZOOM INTO vs. 4-9 and pray this to become a reality in your home -
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength."
And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
Jesus quoted this text in his answer to “Which is the greatest commandment?Let's pray to become Great Commission disciples empowered by Great Commandment love.(see Matthew 28: 18-20 & 22: 37-40) Pray for Great Commandment love in your heart and home to become known to all in your neighborhood.
