Praise God for His Word that was proclaimed yesterday! What do you recall from our worship gatherings that was most impactful to you? Plan to share your experience with someone in your traffic pattern & invite them to join you for worship.
Let’s begin a new devotional journey through the book of 1 Corinthians; we will read smaller portions of Scripture for deeper reflection. Today let’s read 1 Corinthians chapter 1, verses 1 – 9. Prayerfully process through your reading using the H.E.A.R. method; write your thoughts in a journal.
Let’s FOCUS ON Vs. 7, 9 – “You do not lack any spiritual gift… God is faithful; you were called by him into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
PAUSE & REFLECT:
Ask the Lord, “Lord, what is a spiritual gift you have given me?” Listen & write down any impressions of His Spirit to your heart. (a list of the gifts are found in 1 Corinthians chapter 12, Romans 12, & 1 Peter 4.)
Lord, What opportunities might you have presently to use your spiritual gift(s) to me?
Celebrate God’s faithfulness to You; what ways have you experienced His faithful love to you? Tell Him how thankful you are to be in fellowship with His Son.
