Let’s prayerfully read 1 Corinthians 1: 18 – 31. What is a word or verse that is a highlight to you? How might you explain this to a friend? How does this apply to your life? Lead your heart to respond to the Lord at the point of His Word.
Let’s FOCUS ON V.31 – “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”
Pause & Reflect on the passage:
When Jesus saved us, He gave His strength to replace our weakness. To our foolishness, He gave us His wisdom born of faith. Instead of ignorance, we now have the mind of Christ. Every change in us is because of Jesus.
Pause and celebrate this truth: "But God chose the weak and foolish things to shame the wise" (1 Corinthians 1:27). We must boast—but not of ourselves. Instead, we boast in the Lord.
Prayerfully Respond:

Prayerfully Respond:
- “Abba Father, What is an area in my life where I am boasting in myself rather than Jesus?”
- “Lord, What is one step I can take today to humble myself and boast in Jesus instead?”
- “Jesus, I remember when I first trusted you, and I celebrate how you have changed me from _________________ to become _____________________________.”
