October 31st, 2024
Good October 31st morning! Many will celebrate darkness, but we as God’s people celebrate light. On October 31, 1517, a spiritual Reformation began that still has impact in our world today. (Google it and read about it). Let’s pray that the little guests who come to our doors will be an opportunity not only to give something sweet but also to express the love of Jesus.
Let’s prayerfully read 1 Corinthians 2: 1- 16. Write down in a journal your highlights, applications and prayer response.
Let’s FOCUS ON V. 12 - “Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who comes from God, so that we may understand what has been freely given to us by God.”
Pause and reflect:
Special Prayer for Pastor Lewis & our pastor team – “Heavenly Father, may the preaching be with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that our faith might be based on God’s power.” V.4,5 Amen!

Pause and reflect:
- Who have we received the moment we placed our faith in Jesus? ___________ Take time to celebrate what this means to you.
- What do you think is the difference between the spirit of the world and the Spirit of God? ____________________________________________________.
- The Holy Spirit helps us “Understand what has been freely given to us by God.” What are some things God has freely given us? _______________________________. (write them down & express gratitude to God).
