Let’s prayerfully read & reflect on 1 Corinthians chapter 4, verses 6 – 21. Using the H.E.A.R. method, what are some words or phrases that are highlighted to you? How would you explain them to a friend? What application can you make to your life? What heart response can you have to God at the point of His Word?
Let’s ZOOM INTO V.20 – “For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.”
PAUSE & REFLECT:
It is one thing to know who Jesus is and what He teaches in the Bible, but we must not stop there. The kingdom of God is not a matter of talking about Jesus, but living like Jesus.
When we live like Jesus did — serving, teaching, blessing, and encouraging others — we experience the power of the Holy Spirit working through us. This power changes us, but it also changes everyone we meet. To walk the walk with Christ is to be a difference maker.
PRAYER PROMT: “Lord Jesus, I bow before You as the King of all kings and Lord of all lords. You are the King of the eternal kingdom of God. I humbly ask for Your power to be evident in ___________________________________ (circumstance, relationship, area of wellness) and I pray also for our church to be united under Your kingdom that others may experience Your power to save in Sarasota, for I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen”

PAUSE & REFLECT:
- Who is the king of the Kingdom of God? ______________________
- The kingdom of God when the King is present. Is the king present in your heart? Celebrate His rule and reign in your life and over His church.
- What evidence of the King’s power do you see in your life? ___________________ In His church? _______________________________
