Let’s prayerfully read & reflect on 1 Corinthians chapter 6, verses 12 – 20. Using the H.E.A.R. method, what are some words or phrases that are highlighted to you? How would you explain them to a friend? What application can you make to your life? What heart response can you have to God at the point of His Word?
Let’s ZOOM INTO Vs. 19–20 – “Don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, 20 for you were bought at a price. So glorify God with your body.”
PAUSE & PRAY:
Grace is not an excuse to do wrong; it’s a reason to do right.

PAUSE & PRAY:
- CELEBRATE The Holy Spirit lives in you! “Your body is His temple”
- With a yielded heart - Lord, I confess I am not my own; my body belongs to You; be glorified through me, in Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
Grace is not an excuse to do wrong; it’s a reason to do right.
Some practical questions to ask when a decision arises:
- Is there a specific command for or against it in the Bible?
- Will this draw me or others closer to Jesus?
- Will doing this represent Jesus well?
- Is it necessary or helpful?
