ONE Devo Day 18 - November 14

Let’s prayerfully read & reflect on 1 Corinthians chapter 10, verses 1 – 13. Using the H.E.A.R. method, what are some words or phrases that are highlighted to you? How would you explain them to a friend? What application can you make to your life? What heart response can you have to God at the point of His Word?

Let's FOCUS on V.13 – “No temptation has come upon you except what is common to humanity. But God is faithful; he will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation, he will also provide the way out so that you may be able to bear it.”

Pause & Reflect:
  • What temptation or testing are you experiencing?
  • What part of this verse encourages you about God's character and promise in your temptation or trial?
  • What can you expect God to provide in the midst of your testing?

PRAYER PROMPT: “Abba Father, I call out to you in the midst of the temptation/ trail of ________________________________. I trust in Your faithfulness as I admit my fears, and I pray that you would allow Your grace to increase as the burden increases. Give me eyes to recognize the way out, for I humbly give everything and everyone to you, Amen”
