Let’s prayerfully read & reflect on 1 Corinthians 14: 1 – 25. Using the H.E.A.R. method, what words or phrases are highlighted to you? How would you explain this to a friend? What application can you make to your life? What heart response can you have to God at the point of His Word?
Write your response down to cultivate the habit of ‘journaling with God.’
LET’S ZOOM INTO V. 15 “What then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with my understanding. I will sing praise with the spirit, and I will also sing praise with my understanding.”
PRAYER PROMPTS:

LET’S ZOOM INTO V. 15 “What then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with my understanding. I will sing praise with the spirit, and I will also sing praise with my understanding.”
- Have you ever found yourself praying and not remembering what you were praying?
- When you sing praise in worship, do you understand what you are singing?
- Pray with understanding by writing some of your prayers down in a journal. I find some of the most memorable prayers I pray I have written down.
- Sing in worship with understanding by seeking to recall the songs throughout the week.
PRAYER PROMPTS:
- Lord, one song we have recently celebrated in worship is _____________________ and I resonate with the words because ___________________________________.
- Father in heaven, one prayer I bring to you now is______________________________; I want to remember this time and circumstance, because no matter the outcome I will give you praise, Amen!
