ONE Devo Day 30 - November 26

Let’s continue our ‘Thanksgiving through Psalm 107’ by reading the entire chapter.

Let’s ZOOM INTO Vs. 8 – 14 cultivating your heart to give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing love. Recall times in your life when….
  • “He satisfied the thirsty”
  • “filling the hungry with good things”
  • When “you cried to the Lord in trouble, and He saved you from distress” V.13
  • “He brought you out of darkness and broke away your chains.”

Go ahead and express your joyful heart to the Lord for the wonderful deeds He has done in your life. Write out a prayer of thankfulness.

REFLECT - It is a common experience to forget to water plants, leading to their eventual death. Despite attempts to revive them through various means, such as pruning, repotting, or increasing water and sunlight, the plants may still wither and die.
Similarly, we were once spiritually dead, with no hope for resurrection or life due to our sins. However, God provided us with new life by rescuing us from the depths of despair. He delivered us from the darkest prison cells, and pulled us out of the deepest holes, offering us a lifeline when we were in dire need. As a result, we should be grateful for this divine intervention and the new life that we have been given.
