Let’s continue our reading & reflecting through Luke’s Gospel chapter 2, focusing on verses 1 – 20, giving special attention to verses 8 – 14.

• Who did God choose to be the first to hear the Gospel of the Savior’s birth? ______________
• Does this surprise you? It is surprising the angels would be sent to lowly shepherds, yet is it not equally startling that God would allow His gracious calling to come to you and me?
• Let’s celebrate His gracious calling of you by musing over 1 Corinthians 1: 26 – 31. 

LET’S ZERO INTO THE GOSPEL Vs. 10–11 - But the angel said to them, “Don’t be afraid, for look, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people: 11 Today in the city of David a Savior was born for you, who is the Messiah, the Lord.”
