Let’s continue to meditate on the words of Malachi 1: 11 - “My name will be great among the nations, from the rising of the sun to its setting. Incense and pure offerings will be presented in my name in every place because my name will be great among the nations,” says the Lord of Armies.
Today let’s prayerfully read & reflect on Ephesians chapter 5 as we seek to worship the Lord in Spirit and truth. What text in this chapter highlights what it means to ‘worship the Father in Spirit’? How would this apply to our lives?
Let’s ZERO IN on Ephesians 5:18b–20 – “be filled by the Spirit: speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making music with your heart to the Lord, 20 giving thanks always for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,”
To worship the Father “In Spirit” requires the filling of the Spirit.
What are the outcomes in life of “being filled with the Spirit?” – > “Speaking to one another in ___________________, ___________________, and ______________ __________. Giving ________________ always….”
PRAYER PROMPT: “Abba Father, I ask You to fill me with Your Spirit to express worship that will be pleasing to you daily. As I awaken each new day, may I sing joyful songs to You with a heart filled with thankfulness for Your good gifts. I am especially grateful this day for ______________________________________________________, As you look for true worshippers who worship You in Spirit and truth, I pray to be one of your faithful ones, for I humbly pray in Jesus’ name, Amen!”
