Read & Reflect
As we continue in our sermon series WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?, tomorrow’s sermon is I AM ADOPTED.
Let’s prayerfully read Romans 8, reflecting on our identity as adopted children of God.
“For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear. Instead, you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out, ‘Abba, Father!’ The Spirit Himself testifies together with our spirit that we are God’s children.”
Father,
Thank You for adopting me into Your family. I am no longer a slave to fear or sin—I am Your child. Help me to walk in the fullness of this identity, trusting in Your love and living with the confidence that I belong to You. Let me reflect Your grace, love, and kindness as I interact with others today.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
