Galatians Devotional - March 2

A Morning of Gratitude & Worship
Wow! Can you believe we wake up today in the Lord’s presence in a beautiful place like Sarasota, FL? God is good, and you are His child!
Today’s sermon: I AM A CHILD OF GOD
Let’s prayerfully read Galatians 4 (Repetition leads to deeper meditation).
  • Does any new highlight stand out to you?
  • How would you explain this to a friend?
  • What application might this have in your life?
Zoom Into Galatians 4:4-7
Galatians 4:6-7 – “And because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, ‘Abba, Father!’ So you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then God has made you an heir.”
  • What does it mean to be God’s child?
  • You are fully loved and chosen by God.
  • You are no longer a slave to fear or sin—you belong to Him!
  • You have the Holy Spirit living in you, testifying that you are His.
  • You are an heir to God’s promises, fully part of His family.
Reflection Questions:
  • When you look in the mirror, do you see yourself as God’s beloved child?
  • How does knowing you are adopted by God shape your identity and purpose?
  • How can you live with confidence today, knowing that you belong to Him?
Prayer
Father,
Thank you for calling me Your child. I am no longer a slave to sin or fear—I am fully loved, fully accepted, and fully secure in You. Help me to walk in the confidence of my identity as Your son/daughter. Let my life reflect the joy and freedom of belonging to You.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Action Step
  • Look in the mirror today and celebrate who you are in Christ.
  • Speak this truth over yourself: "I am a child of God, adopted into His family!"
  • Live in the freedom and joy of knowing you are loved beyond measure.
  • Encourage someone else today who needs to be reminded of their identity in Christ.
  • How will you reflect the love of your Father today?
