Galatians Devotional - March 4

Read & Reflect
Let’s prayerfully read Galatians 5 (Repetition leads to deeper meditation).
  • Does any new highlight stand out to you?
  • How would you explain this to a friend?
  • What application might this have in your life?
Zoom Into Galatians 5:7-12
Paul challenges the Galatians with a powerful question:
Galatians 5:7 – “You were running a good race. Who cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth?”
  • What or who is hindering your spiritual growth?
  • Is it fear, doubt, or busyness?
  • Are distractions pulling you away from time with God?
  • Are you listening to negative influences instead of God’s truth?
Reflection Questions:
  • What steps can you take to remove obstacles and focus on walking in God’s truth?
  • Are there habits, relationships, or thought patterns that are slowing you down spiritually?
  • How can you stay focused on the race God has set before you?
Prayer
Father,
Reveal to me anything that is hindering my relationship with You. Show me the distractions, fears, or influences that are keeping me from fully obeying Your truth. Give me the courage to let go of anything that pulls me away from You, and help me to run my race with endurance. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Action Step
Choose one specific distraction or habit to set aside for the rest of this week as an act of obedience and focus.
  • Name it. Surrender it. Replace it with time in God’s presence.
  • Speak truth over yourself: “I will not let anything hinder my walk with Christ.”
  • Encourage someone else who may be struggling to stay focused on God’s truth.
  • What is one step you can take today to stay on course in your spiritual race?
