Galatians Devotional - March 5

Read & Reflect
Let’s prayerfully read Galatians 5 (Repetition leads to deeper meditation).
  • Does any new highlight stand out to you?
  • How would you explain this to a friend?
  • What application might this have in your life?
Zoom Into Galatians 5:13-15
Paul reminds us that freedom in Christ is not about selfishness, but about love.
Galatians 5:13 – “For you were called to be free, brothers and sisters; only don’t use this freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love.”
  • Freedom in Christ is not just for us—it’s meant to be poured out in love for others.
  • We are set free from sin so we can serve others selflessly.
  • Love is not just a feeling but an action.
  • When we love others, we reflect Christ.
Reflection Questions:
  • Who has God placed in your life that you can serve in love?
  • How can you practically show them Christ’s love this week?
Prayer
Father,
Thank You for the freedom I have in Christ. Help me to use this freedom not for selfish gain but to serve others in love. Open my eyes to the needs around me, and give me a heart that reflects Your love and compassion. Let my life be a testimony of service to those You’ve placed in my path.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Action Step
  • Plan one act of service or kindness for someone this week.
  • Encourage them with words of love.
  • Prepare a meal, send a note, or spend intentional time with them.
  • Pray for them and let them know you care.
  • How will you use your freedom in Christ to serve others this week?
